Basketball (4V4) Rules

General:

  1. Games are played for 15 minutes, playoff games to 20
  2. Games are played on half-courts ; outside the rim is 2 points; inside the rim is 1
  3. One timeout for each team per game. Timeouts are 60 seconds long.
  4. Subs are only allowed before the check (unless an injury occurs).
  5. Unsportsmanlike conduct has penalties (sit out for 3 points) – judged by the referee
  6. When the opposing team challenges a call or no call on the foul, the ref will step in and be a mediator.
  7. Fouls result in the fouled teams take-out at the top of the court
  8. Players call their own fouls. When fouled while shooting you have to call it directly after the foul. Not after the shot is made or missed.
  9. (Possible) After 3 fouls the opposing team has an opportunity to shoot one foul shot (if made equals 1 point)

4V4:

  1. No gender ratio
  2. Half-court
  3. Teams are suggested to have at least one (max 3) substitute player

Out of bounds:

The ball out when it touches the perimeter line.
